In 2020, three Chinese expats met at a co-working space in Limassol, Cyprus, frustrated by the lack of reliable recharge services for apps like WeChat, Alipay, and mobile games while abroad. They saw overseas Chinese forced to jump through hoops with bank transfers or pay inflated fees from unofficial agents. Motivated by their own struggles, they built Chinapass as a crypto-native solution, accepting only USDT to bypass traditional banking delays and provide instant, low-fee top-ups. Today, Chinapass serves 6,047 customers across 39 countries, processing over 15,000 orders with same-day delivery.
